In short: The rotor of an automatic watch is not designed to fully wind the watch, but rather to maintain an existing power reserve obtained through an initial manual winding.

Step 1/3: To begin, you need to understand that your watch shows both 12-hour and 24-hour time simultaneously.

Step 2/3: In order to display a second time zone by rotating the bezel, the hour hand and the GMT hand must indicate the same time.

Step 3/3: By turning the bezel clockwise or counterclockwise, you move the hour indicator to correspond to the time zone difference between your reference city and the city whose time you want to know.

How to display a second time zone by adjusting only the GMT hand?

Step 2/3: To measure the passage of the hours, align the same luminescent mark on the bezel with the hour hand, then read the information on the graduated hour ring.

Step 3/3: The graduated inner hour ring can be used to track other time zones.

How to install your SERICA ‘PLD’ strap ?

Step 1/4: Lay the strap flat with the hook buckle facing up.

Step 2/4: Position the watch head on the upper section, making sure it is centered between the two loops.

Step 3/4: Flip the assembly over to access the back of the lugs, then install the spring bars.

Step 4/4: Put the watch on your wrist by sliding your hand through the elastic strap. You can adjust the size and tension by moving the metal keeper along the strap.

How to Adjust the Bracelet

Step 1/6: With the watch in hand, lift the articulated clasp cover of the slider using your fingernail.

Step 2/6: Slide the mobile slider to the desired length, then gently secure it between the two folded blades.

Step 3/6: Slip the bracelet around your wrist.

Step 4/6: Bring the clasp toward the mobile slider by pressing down on the SERICA logo with your thumb or index finger.

Step 5/6: Snap the clasp into the notch of the mobile slider, then release it to lock it in place.

Step 6/6: The same motion allows you to unlock the bracelet.

How to Install the “Expédition” Bracelet

Step 1/5: Make sure the end links are compatible with your watch model.

Step 2/5: Position the first end link between the lugs.

Step 3/5: Insert the spring bars into both ends of the bracelet.

Step 4/5: Press one side of the spring bar, slot the other into the lug hole, then push the bracelet until you hear the click confirming it is secured.

Step 5/5: Repeat the same process on the other side of the watch to complete the installation.
