HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY SERICA WATCH?
Step 1/4: Clean regularly - wipe your watch with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and perspiration.
Step 2/4: Avoid shocks - protect your watch from drops and violent impacts.
Step 3/4: Keep it away from magnetic fields - do not place your watch near strong magnets (speakers, phones, etc.).
Step 4/4: Have your watch serviced - a check every 5 years by an authorized watchmaker guarantees its precision and longevity.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY SERICA WATCH?
Step 1/3: Use a soft cloth : ideally microfiber to avoid scratches.
Step 2/3: Cleaning the case : For waterproof models, rinsing with clean water after exposure to salt or chlorinated water is recommended.
Step 3/3: Cleaning the bracelet :
- Bonklip & Mesh strap : Wash with warm soapy water, then dry thoroughly.
- Leather : a damp cloth is sufficient, avoid immersion.
HOW DO I KEEP MY SERICA WATCH WATERPROOF?
Step 1/3: Check the crown : Make sure it is always screwed down tightly before any exposure to water.
Step 2/3: Avoid temperature variations : do not wear your watch in the shower or in a sauna, the heat can damage the seals.
Step 3/3: Check the seal : Have the seal tested every 24 months by a professional.
HOW DO I TRANSPORT MY SERICA WATCH?
Step 1/3: Use a travel box or (marmot) : a hard box or case protects your watch from bumps and scratches.
Step 2/3: Avoid extreme environments : Do not leave your watch in direct sunlight or in an excessively humid place.
Step 3/3: Store it carefully : If you are not wearing your watch for a long period of time, wind it from time to time to keep it running smoothly.

WIND YOUR WATCH & SET THE TIME
How to wind your SERICA watch?
Step 1/2: To wind your watch, unscrew the crown counterclockwise until the crown jumps into the winding position.
Step 2/2: You can make about 30 complete turns to wind the spring.
How to set the time on your SERICA watch?
Step 1/4: When the second hand reaches 12 o'clock, pull the crown out to the time setting position.
Step 2/4: The second hand stops and you can now set the time precisely.
Step 3/4: Press the crown to be in the arming position.
Step 4/4: Then press it again and screw it back in. You are now ready to go.
DISPLAY A SECOND TIME ZONE BY ROTATING THE BEZEL
How to display a second time zone by adjusting the bidirectional bezel?
Step 1/3: To begin, you need to understand that your watch shows both 12-hour and 24-hour time simultaneously.
Step 2/3: In order to display a second time zone by rotating the bezel, the hour hand and the GMT hand must indicate the same time.
Step 3/3: By turning the bezel clockwise or counterclockwise, you move the hour indicator to correspond to the time zone difference between your reference city and the city whose time you want to know.
DISPLAY A SECOND TIME ZONE BY ADJUSTING THE GMT HAND INDEPENDENTLY
How to display a second time zone by adjusting only the GMT hand?
Step 1/5: Unscrew the crown to position 2, the GMT position.
Step 2/5: Then turn it clockwise.
Step 3/5: You can now display the second time zone of your choice without touching the bezel.
Step 4/5: The GMT hand is only adjusted clockwise.
Step 5/5: Press the crown back into the winding position and then screw it back in.

How to change the strap?
Step 1/4: Set up on a flat, clean, non-slip surface and equip yourself with the right tools (a bergeon).
Step 2/4: Bring the pump end inward while pushing with the fork.
Step 3/4: To attach another strap, use the same process while being careful not to scratch the lugs.
Step 4/4: Check that the bracelet is securely attached and in place.

Step 3/4: Push the crown into the winding position, then push again to screw it against the case.

SECURE THE BRACELET
How to secure the strap ? Step 1/6: Place the watch on top of your wrist. Step 2/6: Do not turn it to see the clasp as it may fall off. Step 3/6: Position the watch near your chest and bend the long end upwards to meet the clasp. Step 4/6: Slide it inside so that it passes under the short strand. Step 5/6: You can now adjust the size. Step 6/6: Use your index finger to catch the clasp and fold down the clasp cover.
THE ROTATING BEZEL
How to use the unidirectional rotating bezel?
Step 1/3: To measure the passage of the minutes, align the luminescent marker on the bezel with the minute hand, then read the information on the ceramic insert.
Step 2/3: To measure the passage of the hours, align the same luminescent mark on the bezel with the hour hand, then read the information on the graduated hour ring.
Step 3/3: The graduated inner hour ring can be used to track other time zones.

How to change the strap?
Step 1/5: Set up on a flat, clean, non-slip surface and equip yourself with the right tools (ideally a Bergeon 6825).
Step 2/5: Prepare the strap and bring the watches inwards.
Step 3/5: Then position the watch head at the correct angle.
Step 4/5: Then release the pump and make sure the end piece is securely in place.
Step 5/5: Now check that the bracelet is securely attached.

How to use the BONKLIP bracelet?
Step 1/4: Start by putting your bracelet on your wrist.
Step 2/4: Gently pull the buckle to tighten the bracelet around your wrist.
Step 3/4: Once adjusted to the correct size, insert the buckle blade into one of the links to lock it.
Step 4/4: Secure the buckle in place. Your bracelet is now perfectly adjusted.

INSTALL THE END-LINKS
How to install the end pieces on your SERICA?
Step 1: Make sure you have the correct parts for your model.
Step 2: Identify the correct side of each part for a perfect fit with the case.
Step 3: Fit the end piece against the lug of the watch.
Step 4: Point the pump end of your bracelet inward while pressing with the fork to insert it into the lug.
Step 5: Check that the bracelet is securely attached (by pulling slightly on it) and press on the end piece.

How to wind your SERICA watch?
Step 1/2: Turn the crown clockwise in small rotations.
Step 2/2: You can make approximately 20 complete turns of the winder to tension the barrel spring.
How to set the time on your SERICA watch?
Step 1/4: Grasp the crown located on the side of the case and gently pull it out to the time setting position.
Step 2/4: You can accurately set the time on your watch.
Step 3/4: Once the time is set, push the crown back against the case to lock it.
Step 4/4: Your watch is ready to use.
