The SERICA dive watch evolves with a fully redesigned dial, a carefully integrated date at 3 o’clock, and several distinctive details that define a new variation in its own right.
Preserving harmony
Integrating a date display into an existing design presents a challenge: maintaining harmony despite the natural imbalance of an indication that has no axial symmetry.
The dial of the Ref. 5330 therefore features a re-centered minute track, with the date window positioned as a reflection of the index at 9 o’clock. The aperture preserves the 14’ and 16’ markers, ensuring uncompromised legibility.
Creating distinction
Alongside the date display, the Ref. 5330 introduces, for the first time in a regular production model, a matte black dial paired with a new anthracite grey ceramic bezel insert. The rotating bezel scale has also been simplified, with the removal of the countdown markings.
